Chantal Bernicky, Paintings Conservator

Graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), earning a bachelors degree in theater and performing arts and then a masters degree in art history also at UQAM.  She earned a masters in art conservation from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1999.  Chantal has held post graduate positions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Judith Eisenberg Textile Conservation, the Williamstown Art Conservation Center, the National Gallery of Art in Washington and the Carnegie Museum of Art.

Michael Belman, Objects Conservator

Attended the art school of Temple University in Philadelphia, obtaining a bachelors degree in fine arts focused in sculpture and a minor in art history.  He received apprenticeship training in art conservation at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, the Israel Antiquities Authority in Jerusalem and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  He earned a masters in art conservation from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2000 and has held advanced training positions at the Museum of Modern Art, the Williamstown Art Conservation Center and the National Gallery of Art.  Michael has held the position of Objects Conservator at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh since 2006.
